Founded in 2013, Sweet Cake Bites was developed by Cake Designer and Owner, Gwyneth Barrett. A bespoke cake maker based in South Woodford, Essex, Gwyneth’s passion is to create unique edible works of art that are memorable, stunning to look at and provide each of your guests with a ‘Taste of Heaven’!
We are in love with making cakes! Baking and creating is what drives us; we adore making characters, figures and even the most delicate of decorations by hand. Nothing compares to the feeling of starting with a blank canvas and creating an edible masterpiece.
Our customers include many new clients plus a flock of repeat clients who use only us to bake their cakes. Commenting that our cakes not only look fantastic but taste delicious too, they won’t go anywhere else!

It is our passion to create cakes that are amazing on the inside as well as outside. We use ingredients that are specific to each cake and your dietary needs. We don’t believe in using the same recipe for everything. Depending upon your dietary and ornamental needs, your cake will be outstanding. Our eye for detail and appreciation of design results in a cake that will outclass all others.
